The Shurijeh-D reservoir, located in the northeastern part of Iran near Sarakhs city, is part of the Khangiran Gas field. In 2009, it was designated as an underground gas storage (UGS) facility. All the necessary infrastructure for gas injection and withdrawal was constructed in 2014 during Phase-I of the Shurijeh UGS plant.
While operating Phase-I, it was confirmed that the reservoir had the capacity for additional gas storage. The HOST COMPANY is responsible for all underground gas storage in the country, including Shurijeh-D.
Following the successful implementation of Phase-I, it was confirmed that there was potential for additional storage capacity. Therefore, HOST COMPANY planned Phase-II of reservoir development to increase the storage capacity to 4.5 billion cubic meters.
After the completion of the tender process, the selected INVESTOR (MAPNA) will assume operation of all existing Shurijeh-D UGS facilities and upstream infrastructure for a commercial period. This will include conducting a comprehensive reservoir study/monitoring to facilitate the second phase of development for these UGS facilities.
The primary activities of this new project encompass the preparation of a development plan, engineering, procurement, drilling, construction, and commissioning of Phase-II. Additionally, it involves the integrated operation and maintenance of the entire system (Phase I and II) and the transfer of gas to/from HOST COMPANY as per the defined contract.
Contract Time Period: 9 months from March 12, 2021.

Project Bibi-Hakimeh New Gas Compressor Station

The Bibi-Hakimeh Gas Compressor station is situated in Iran's Bushehr Province, approximately 30 kilometers away from Deilam port. This project is a crucial component of supplying feed to the Persian Gulf Bid Boland Refinery.
It involves changing the source of injection gas for the Bibi-Hakimeh oil fields, transitioning from the gas produced by NGL 1300 to South Pars Gas (6th, 7th, 8th phases), as well as utilizing acid gas produced by the NGL 1300 plant for the Bibi-Hakimeh oil wells.
The initial engineering design for this project was carried out by another company. However, due to delays in the procurement of compressors, the client decided to relocate and use two turbo compressor trains from the Gachsaran New Gas Compressor Station in the Bibi-Hakimeh New Gas Compressor Station.
The scope of this project includes a study of the impact of this change on the previous FEED (Front-End Engineering Design) design, the preparation of new documentation within the scope of this change, and the development of an EPCC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning) tender document.

The EP (Engineering and Procurement) contracts for the Gas Sweetening (Unit 200) and Sulfur Recovery (Unit 600) Units have been awarded to Tehran Raymand Consulting Engineers.
The Gas Sweetening Unit is designed to reduce the hydrogen sulfide and carbon dioxide content in the inlet sour feed gas to the NGL recovery unit. There are two identical Gas Sweetening Units in two separate gas flow sections.
The Sulfur Recovery Unit is designed to produce liquid sulfur from the acid gas generated in the Gas Sweetening Unit. The liquid sulfur is then solidified in the sulfur solidification package. The off-gas is burned in an incinerator package, taking into consideration environmental limitations.

The Persian Gulf Bid Boland Gas Refinery is currently designed to receive 2000 MMSCFD of feed gas, including 1700 MMSCFD of sour gas from NGLs 900 & 1000, and 300 MMSCFD of sweet gas from NGLs 1200 & 1300. Due to the dependency of feed availability on projects defined upstream of NGLs 900 & 1000 and the gathering of associated gas streams upstream of NGLs 1200, 1300 & 1500, the CLIENT intends to perform Basic Design & FEED on these areas. The project's goal is to ensure the gathering and treatment of existing flared gas streams and transfer them to the Persian Gulf Bid Boland Gas Refinery.
The scope of the project can be divided into two main categories of study:
1. Handling the produced associated gas in the fields of Aghajari, Ramshir, RagSefid-1, Sour Marun Asmari (Marun-3 & Marun-5), and Pazanan-1. The total gas quantity exceeds 400 MMSCFD, with the majority being flared due to the absence of a gas gathering and transmission system or the deterioration of existing facilities, rendering them practically unusable.
2. Developing gas gathering and transmission systems in the fields upstream of NGLs 1200, 1300 & 1500. The major fields include Gachsaran, Bibihamikeh, Karanj, Paranj, Parsi, RagSefid-2, and the existing facilities in RagSefid-1. The gas gathering systems are currently in service and could remain in service for some additional years if the already defined repairing/improvement projects are carried out.

The development and construction of gas transportation facilities are necessary to deliver 1 BSCFD of Iranian natural gas to Oman. These gas transportation facilities include a Compressor Station and a Metering Station at Kuh-Mobarak in Iran, as well as an approximately 200 km Offshore Pipeline from Kuh-Mobarak to the Sohar receiving facilities in Oman.
Tehran Raymand has been selected to perform the conceptual study, basic engineering, and FEED for the onshore facilities, namely the Compressor and Metering Stations. These Compressor & Metering Stations comprise Turbo-Compressors, required utilities, mechanical equipment & piping, electrical systems, instrumentation and control systems, battery limit pig traps, and all other necessary facilities, buildings, and operational areas, all surrounded by a perimeter fence.
The unit is considered to be standalone, and a Power Generation Unit will supply the required electrical power.

TR has been awarded the engineering services for unit 760 (Cooling System) to provide 550 m3/h of cooling water to unit 600. The refrigerant is used to chill the cooling water and provide chilling duty to the following users:

The cooling system, utilizing screw compressors, shall be designed for a total design heat load of 5.778 x 1.1 MW with a turn-down ratio of 20% of normal capacity.

MAPNA Oil and Gas Development Company, acting as the Buy Back Contractor for the Iranian Offshore Oil Company (Owner), has undertaken the development of the Forooz B gas field with the goal of producing and treating 1000 MMSCFD of Gas. The onshore facilities will be located on Qeshm Island, with a distance of approximately 180 km from the offshore installations.
The primary purpose of designing the Forooz B onshore plant is to maximize the recovery of C3+ components and produce lean gas, propane, butane, natural gasoline, and sulfur for saleable products. Lean gas will be delivered at the battery limit. This complex will encompass all processing units, utilities, offsite facilities, and necessary infrastructure to manufacture these products.
This project has recently been awarded to Tehran Raymand for conceptualization, basic design, front-end engineering design, and the preparation of EPC tender documents, to be completed within 12 months.
