IRITEC / IRASCO have been contracted by the Iranian Offshore Oil Company (I.O.O.C) to carry out the EPC for the Kharg Island Gas Gathering and NGL Recovery Project. This onshore project includes pipeline and reception facilities, onshore compression, NGL trains, NGL storage, and export facilities. The NGL recovery facility is a new development and will involve the simultaneous construction of two separate gas treatment and NGL recovery plants that share common utilities and liquid export systems. Gas will be collected from both onshore and offshore sources.
John Brown Hydrocarbons had been contracted by I.O.O.C to conduct the Basic Engineering and FEED for the onshore facilities of the Kharg Island Gas Gathering and NGL Recovery project.
Tehran Raymand Consulting Engineers has been engaged by IRITEC to perform the detailed design of the common system and interconnecting services of the project. ICOFC has planned to complete the design, procurement, construction, and commissioning of the wellheads, gathering system, and gas refinery plants for the Halegan & Sefid Baghoon gas fields.
The overall project scope is to establish the necessary facilities for the production of 20,000 MMSCMD gas from 12 production wells, with the produced gas being exported to the IGAT-4 pipeline.

Project Tang-e-Bijar & Kamankuh Gas Field Development Second Phase

Tang-e-Bijar & Kamankouh gas field is situated in the Zagros Mountains in the west of Iran, approximately 125 km from Kermanshah and 60 km from Ilam. This field is currently in production to supply the required gas for certain parts of the western provinces of Iran. The gas produced from this field is sour, with a high percentage of CO2 and H2S. Additionally, the formation water contains a high amount of CL- ions. Tang-e-Bijar gas field has been developed in a wide area of the Zagros highlands, with the production wells located about 15 km apart.
In the first phase of Tang-e-Bijar gas field production, gas produced from 5 wells (wells No. 3, 5, 8, 9, and 11) is transported to the Tang-e-Bijar Central Facility (TCF) to separate gas, gas condensate, and water in a slug catcher. The separated gas is then transferred to ISF facilities via an 18-inch pipeline. The ISF facilities are located 40 km away from TCF.
The gas condensate separated in the slug catcher is sent to a three-phase separator to remove any remaining water. The gas condensate from the three-phase separator is pumped to ISF facilities by a transfer pump and via a 6-inch pipeline.
To separate any possible associated liquids, the gas from TCF is introduced into a slug catcher in the ISF facilities, and the gas from the slug catcher is delivered to the Ilam refinery.
Due to recent accidents and explosions at TCF, the purpose of this project is to study, evaluate, troubleshoot, and provide solutions to the current situation in the flow lines from wells to TCF, TCF facilities, the gas transmission pipeline from TCF to ISF, and ISF facilities, all while considering the normal operating capacity of 7 MMSCMD of produced gas within the ISF battery limit. Additionally, with the consideration of 3 additional production wells and an increased capacity of 10 MMSCMD of produced gas, the flow lines from wells to TCF, TCF facilities, gas/condensate transmission pipelines from TCF to ISF, and ISF facilities will be re-evaluated, and a basic engineering package will be prepared in the next phase of the project.

The South Gashu gas field, located 70 km west of the port city of Bandar Abbas, consists of two producing reservoirs: "Khami" and "Sarvak." Among them, the Khami formation is the primary contributor to overall production. Recent reservoir studies predict a normal gas production of 500 MMSCFD from 20 wells.
In anticipation of this production, the field will be developed, and reservoir fluids will be transported via a network of flowlines and pipeline gathering systems to a processing plant. The full processing will take place in two trains. Utilities, offsites, and necessary infrastructure to support operations will be established adjacent to the upstream and refinery process units.
To develop the South Gashu gas field for gas processing and transportation to Iran Gas Trunk Line – 7 (IGAT – 7), as well as for exporting stabilized condensate and commercial sulfur, the Iranian Central Oil Fields Company (ICOFC) has awarded the contract to Tehran Raymand Consulting Engineers for the Conceptual Design, Basic Engineering, and Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) of "upstream facilities," "gas-processing plant," and "off-plots."

In pursuit of NIGC's goal to make a meaningful contribution to the development of the Iranian oil and gas industry and address operational challenges, their Research, Development, and Technology Department has recently initiated the development of gas processing technologies, particularly the gas sweetening process. In line with this objective and recognizing the excellent reputation of the Research Institute of Petroleum Industry (RIPI) in providing engineering solutions to the oil and gas sectors through a blend of research and development, along with advanced computerized engineering technology, NIGC and RIPI have entered into a contract. This contract aims to prepare the FEED package and EPC tender document for a gas sweetening pilot plant. This plant is intended to be designed and installed in the South Pars Gas Field, situated in the southwest of Iran.
Given the above context and the desire to offer executing companies flexible, precise, and efficient technologies that enhance their operational performance, NIGC has invited Tehran Raymand Consulting Engineers to review the relevant process technology efforts and engineering concepts. The Lab Sefid Gas Gathering and Injection Project has been devised by the National Iranian South Oil Company (INSOC) to curb the flaring of associated gas from the Lab Sefid Oil Production plant. This plant is situated approximately 50 km northeast of Dezful, Iran. By implementing this project, the existing Lab Sefid Oil Production plant will undergo expansion, incorporating the following units and pipelines:
- Sweetening Unit
- Sweetening of 17,000 Standard Barrels per day of sour Lab Sefid / Palangan crude oil
- Gas Compression & Injection Unit
The released gas from the Lab Sefid Oil Production plant will be gathered and then compressed in multiple stages before being injected into Lab Sefid well no.7. The maximum required injection rate is 27,000 MMSCFD. Given that the amount of associated gas from the Lab Sefid oil field is insufficient for injection into Lab Sefid well no.7, Bangestan gas from well no.5 will be utilized as a supplementary source.

- Gas Transfer Pipeline: This pipeline is designed for transporting Bangestan gas from well no.5 to the production unit, which is approximately 5.5 km away.
- Injection Pipeline: This pipeline is intended for transferring compressed gas from the Compression Unit to Labsefid well no.7, which is approximately 6 km away.
