Policies of the National Iranian South Oil Company (NISOC) dictate utilization of all associated gases for the purpose of pollution control, energy preservation and its proper usage in the potential markets and industries. Considering the increasing amount of associated gas, produced from different stages of separations in Gachsaran Production Units 1&2, and in accordance with this point that the amount of associated gas from the second stage separation is more than the capacity of low pressure compressor and total amount of gas (including discharge of low pressure compressor and wells gas) is lower than the capacity of high pressure compressors, installing electro driven gas compressors with a capacity of 6 MMscf (in each compressor station) will provide the opportunity to use the remaining capacity of high-pressure compressors as well as preventing flaring the associated gases released from the second stage of production unit.

In lights of the above, Tehran Raymand Consulting Engineers has awarded to accomplish the conceptual, basic design, front-end engineering design (FEED) & preparing EPC Tender documents of a project titled “Collecting Associated Gases of the Second Stage of Separation in Gachsaran’ Production Units 1 & 2’ on the basis of its policies to maintain efficient and well-protected facilities throughout the life of the plant.
