Kupal Gas Pipeline and Gas Injection Plant Project: Kupal Gas Pipeline and Gas Injection Plant Client: National Iranian South Oil Company (NISOC) Owner: National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) Location: Kupal, Khouzestan, Iran Services: Basic Engineering FEED Package Preparation Preparation of Tender Package for EPC Project Since the gas injected to Asmari oil fields is now being used as the feed to Maroon petrochemical plant in Khouzestan province, National Iranian South Oil Company (NISOC) intended to substitute the aforesaid gas. There exists a 150 MMSCFD gas injection plant in Kupal which injects the compressed gas to Asmari oil fields. National Iranian South Oil Company (NISOC) awarded a project for another 150 MMSCFD gas injection plant adjacent to existing plant. The incoming pipeline from Mohammadi gas station shall be replaced for both injection plants (300 MMSCFD). The plant consists of two trains of centrifugal turbo compressors (each train two stages) and will compress the feed gas from 54 bar to 276 bar.
